Chris Rankin is an award-winning watercolor artist from Northern California, whose equine-themed works have been featured in numerous galleries, art shows and in various print media features over the past seven years. Her work has won local, state-wide, national and even international acclaim, and she can often be found displaying and discussing her art and love of draft horses at local galleries and annual horse shows throughout Northern California. Her work has been featured in national and international magazines such as “Sierra Heritage,” “Art Horse Magazine”.
In recent years, her work has also been featured as the main media / marketing art for the Draft Horse Classic in Grass Valley California, (2014) and as the cover art for a fiction novel. (‘The Forgotten Promise’ by Kate Ryder).
